Once you've been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) you'll find yourself with a physical therapy appointment you might not be too excited about. While PFD is a common condition in both men and women, it is not a widely talked about ailment and can leave those diagnosed hesitant about their upcoming pt appointment. While PFD can range from incontinence to constipation to pain during sex, you can still expect a few simple things from your physical therapist regardless of your specific diagnosis.
